For sure, Africkan has a nice ride with potential...but then there's always something like this available:

[:'(]

If he gets this he needs to get rid of the lights and spoiler immedietaly IMO

Actually, its a fact: that spoiler gives you at least 40 extra hp- why do you think all the ricers have'em?!

86-91 is a good year for the foxbodys, 92 and 93 are OK, but they have a milder cam (same claimed hp though) and they have a few other weird things. The 94-95 5.0Ls are becomming quite the colectors item as they were the last two years of the 5.0 and a lot of people like the sn95s over the foxs, yet again, that's personal preferance. Now if you can find a 93, 94, or 95 yellow 5.0 at a good price jump on it as they're very rare.

OH FYI, the insurance on the 5.0 will actually be cheaper than that on your sixer. Good luck getting a Cobra for any less than 10K with good miles on them, but if you can find one then there you go. Now the 5.0L Cobras are more of a collectors item rather than a serious car, however the 96-98 Cobras were very good, the 99s had some issues, but they were all fixed for 01.

the question is, what is your goal? if you just wanna go fast, just get an older fox body. i would just stay away from the sn95's in general. what would insurance run you on for a 96 cobra though? those should be cheap. a 9904 GT would be good but theyre also more expensive and the 2v engine is a good platform but at least with the 99-04 you would look good too lol

i want a notchback. i want a car i can build but that isnt gonna run me 10k to make it a 11-12 second car. i also want it to last so getting a car with 130k on it isnt ideal

then you definately want a 5.0 fox, unless of course, you consider a LS1 fobody.
