Hey, welcome aboard, Adam. I dont know much about the V6's but if you want you can get in touch with Hotrods_N_Booze. He has a v6 and he has done a lot to it I guess.

Good to have you here Adam. Post some pics of your stang if you can cause I'd like to see what your working with. As far as V6 performance, boosting it is the way to go (probably Vortech w/ a V6) and I would do a dual exhaust conversion and the normal upgrades. If budget is an issue do the exhaust and intake upgrades, I have seen both for V6's and change the gears in the rearend out for something lower, get a short shifter and maybe give it a tune with a chip or a programmer. Good Luck
Adam

Oh, I think MAC makes a V6 CAI but don't know what direction to point you for exhaust?

Whats up. Its nice to meet other 3.8L drivers. One of the best performance upgrades you can get is a Diablo Delta Chip.

get at least a dual exhaust with flowmaster, that way it can sound like something different - people won't know it's a v6 (unless your a stang owner/fan).

I'm an ex-v6er myself!... and I always tell everyone with v6's out there that if your planning to spend money upgrading your stang to make it faster and all, just traded in for a GT, on the long run it will be much cheaper (believe me, I KNOW!).

Hey adam, Im just curious . . . why did you decide to go with a 2000 V6 instead of maybe looking for a nice deal on a 99 GT? I myself was put in a tight spot between the two and im just interested to see what your reason might be.
