Default dual exhaust conversion

im buying the cat-back system from mac for my 2001 v6 mustang.....i do not want the stock y-pipe. Where can i get a h-pipe for cheap???

Personally, I'd go with the X-pipe. Neither one is gonna add any power. Crossover pipes aren't "needed" with the 3.8. But IMO, the X-pipe adds a better sound. I had the exhaust shop make me one.

and whats the difference between a off-road h-pipe and a catted h-pipe?
Off road crossover pipes aren't smog legal.

so in cali, mass, or whereever else, you will not get a sticker, hence be illegal

do they even make an x-pipe that can go with a mac exhaust, or do i have to get one custom built?

Just make sure you get an aluminum x pipe, as the steel pipes will rust out quicker on you than I can win the Biggest Morron on MF contest.[8D] If you get one custom made make sure they use aluminum for the same reasons.

yea either that or stainless steel lol....that will last forever

Get and x pipe from RPM Outlet. They raised there prices bout a week ago, but i think they're still the cheapest...RPM Outlet
