Default Extreme electrical problems...

Hi, I have a 94 mustang convertible, that I bought wrecked after the last owner ran it into a tree, we've got all the frame work done, and it's sittin in my garage at home, with all the panels from the firewall up missing. But anyways that's not the problem, I reconnected all the hoses, and electrical connections, put a new battery in it, and the first time I turned the key it started right up after two and a half years of sitting, which is a good sign. I let it idle for about 45 minutes with all the extras going...the heat, interior lights, stereo, and I fiddled with the top, and all the windows, and wipers, to make sure it all worked and wouldn't short circuit anything, everything worked perfectly. Then I shut the car off to go inside and eat dinner, and I went to restart it just to make sure it would start again, and get this, it didn't. A couple days later I brought over a friend to see if he could figure out the problem, we went over all electrical connections, and all vaccum hoses, to make sure it was all hooked up right, it still didn't start, so I started screwing with the top, the windows, and the stereo, then got bored, and went to start it again, and suprisingly it started, so we let it run as we worked on another car, then looked back, and saw that a radiator hose came loose, and spilled a gallon and a half of antifreeze, so we bought some more and filled up the radiator, and the car started right up, so I let it run for about half an hour, then just before I went back inside I went to restart it to make sure it'd still start, and of course it didn't, and still won't. So, if you could help me out at all on why sometimes it starts and sometimes it don't it'd be greatly appriciated, thanx for any help you can give me

That is one of those spooky problems that'll make you pull your hair out. When you try to start it does it crank or not?
