OK heres the deal, Ive got a 96 V6 already have the ehxuast done, the intake done, and a chip in. Ive got about $200-$300 to spend on a mod, what should i do that would give me a nice gain.

do u have an auto tranny or manual?
3.73 gears for a stick
4.10 gears for a manual
best mod for the money

underdrive pulleys aren't a bad mod either

 

cost of gears and install is more than 300 bucks. pulleys would be noticeable. check http://www.moranav6racing.com/. try the 1.8 roller rockers, that will be very noticeable. they are on my car.

 

Save a little extra cash and get the gears. You wont be dissapointed

anyone else see the mistake in this post? [sm=smiley29.gif] I thought a stick was a manual... anyway... depends on your want... nitrous will give you a once in a while rush but can create problems down the line for your otherwise stock engine... gears will give you a good base line to continue modifying if that is your desire... Keeping the car? go with a starter mod... not keeping the car and just using it? Get a 100 shot of nitrous and have fun
