i just swapped out the stocker for a force flow form summit...everything else is stock (pipes and all)

 

Well you're not going to get a big difference in sound if you just swap out the muffler.

 

would having the tuirndown right after the muffler be louder? if so i mite just ditch the tailpipe and do that

 

Not really. The only way to get an over all louder sound is to go with dual exhaust.

 

yea eventually im doing that...i owe my dad liek 1800 bucks so in the mean time i made a quick 30 bucks, bought the muffler and threw it on the stang...after i pay him im doing huge mods a full new exhaust system

 

Well there is one other option, but it's not one I reccomend, you can gut your cats to get a deeper tone.

 

ok i was driving some chick home tonite and i had to show off and really floor it...i cant believe it but after about 3k rpms if im holding around half throttle and then floor it it is liek a boost of energy that was never there and all you hear is my cold air intake that i made suckin in air and sounding liek a blower...its friggin nuts

 

yea it will. it will be louder than what it is w/ the tail pipe. drone can get kinda annoying but it will be louder.

 

ok so i get hoem today and tailpipe is all loose and hittin my bumper and i think i need to fix this fast...i think im goin to just put a turndown on the muffler but my dad is freakin saying ill get carbon monoxide inside and everything...idk but if i do this i need to make a hanger for the muffler and i have no clue how to do that

 

i wish i had a pic of my old setup. you wont get any exhaust in the cabin. it just blows right out the back like normal. try to find a universal hanger and use the stock top half of the hanger thats already there.
