Default Rattling exhaust pipe

Sorry...i posted something like this 2 hours ago or so but im having an issue that needs quick fixing.

My exhaust pipe rattled ONLY when im in drive and have my foot applied on the brake fully.
It doesnt do it in neutral with the brake on or park.

Anything i should check out?

I had my mother hold the brake down in drive while i checked but it wasnt rattling (of course..the irony...)

Any help woud be gladly appreciated and sorry for the double post deal

my stock exhaust used to do the same thing. Dont really know what caused it but I figured out that it was a hanger that was rattling on the frame. If I gave the car gas when it rattled it would normally stop or at least lessen. as for a solution if u cant find the rattle then take it to a muffler shop and just get them to fix it. couldnt be more than 50 bux.

You're going to have to get under the car. If you have a stock V6 exhaust there is a hanger on the driver side rear just in front of the axle. It could be loose OR the heat shields on the cats are loose in which case a couple of smacks with a hammer along the ednge should fix it.

If its just a heat shield you can just rip it off. Ive had that happen with a few of my cars in the past and I just took the heat shield off.

It's either one of the rear hangers, or it may be this line that runs by your tranny and connects into the h pipe on the car, my GT had that problem, my V6 had the hanger problem.

Its not the exhaust according to the guys who checked it out a couple days ago where i got in installed...so maybe it is that line by my tranny?
I noticed that it comes from the rear passanger side...odd thing is...it sounds like its coming sorta from the trunk or the fender area or somethin so i dunno. We made an appointment to get it into the Ford dealer wednesday so we'll see what they say...ill tell them about this line thing

Also im pissed...cuz the guys at the exhaust shop lowered the driver side exhaust pipe a little so now the left pipe is lower than the right and it looks really stupid [:@] "the pipe was close to the axle"

...as soon as i got in a drove away from the shop...it did it again.

Yea my GT did the same thing before I got rid of the old exhaust, came from the same spot too, but when I had the x pipe and mags put on, boom, it went away.
