HIDs are awesome...i had silverstars for a year and upgraded...maybe not worth $285 but i have always wanted them since they first started coming on Lincols, MBenz, BMW etc...so clean to look at
ya when your not the guy coming the other way[8D]
who cares don't look lol...i actually like looking at em at night...which is why i bought em...plus i do canyon runs pretty frequently and the added light is a BIG plus at night time to watch out for deer, etc.

i mean is it difficult to get the headlight and bulb out? or is it just a simple unscrew and replace? i havent bothered to try it yet due to me relaxing after a week of classes.

it is really simple...you pull out the two L-shaped pins holding the housing in...unplug the connector for the turn signal bulb...then unplug the connector for the headlight bulb...and take off the assembly...once off there is a plastic ring around the headlight bulb...turn it until it comes off then pop the bulb out...it may be a little hard to get out at first...just take your time...same with the L-shaped pins...they were a biotch to get out the first time but now they come out easier

oh yea....pull the old bulb out...pop the new one in and only hold it by the plastic end...don't touch the glass part...then do the reverse of above to put it all back together...there are 2 L-shaped pins on each headlight housing...definitely do this when it is light out because if you have never seen them before you won't find them in the dark...you should be able to see them sticking up a little right above the headlight panel
