alright i just got a 2000 v6, stock, manual, and im lookin at some minor mod options, so far cold air and exhaust, whats a good cold air system? and what are some other minor things i can do to give it a lil kick?

 

HAHAHAHA.....No. Look at some exhaust and intake kits. Little bit cheaper and they usually fit without any modifications to your car.

BBK or MAC probably make the best intake systems

 

so if i take out the air silencer, will it screw the engine up at all?

 

no, it just lets more air in. i would go with a fenderwell CAI, bbk or mac. also, how much are you wanting to spend, tha makes a big difference in what you can do.

 

if you really want to get a CAI... go with an ebay one... cheaper and does the same thing. Only thing you don't get is the name... and I'm sure you can live without one.

What kind of intake do you want? probably a ported one since there really isn't any cheap aftermarket intake manifolds out there... might as well port your stock one.

 

yeah check out the bbk cold air system or i just took off my silencer and added a K&N filter and i noticed better mpg and a lil better performance.......not as good as a complete cold air kit, but only $30 bucks

 

i was lookin at MAC CAI on ebay..it said they were for the GT, will it still fit my v6?
