i was wondering what would be an ideal setup(side/rear speakers and bass) to go with the stock cd deck on an 03 sixer.

There are a lot of good companies, but here is a good breakdown for you.

STEREO HEAD UNITS:
Alpine, Pionere, Sony, Kenwood are all really good, there are one or two more, but I can't think of them right now'

Speakers:
JL Audio, Boston Acoustic, Eclipse, ...............kenwood are alright along with audioban

SUBS:
JL Audio, Polk Audio, .............kenwood and audioban are also OK

AMP:
Alpine, JL Audio, Kenwood, and Sony are all pretty good

TWEETERS:
Boston/Boston Acoustic.............Kenwood is OK

Consult Mobil One for more hands on info.

i have the mach mp3 head unit and i am fine with it. i think it looks good and could sound better with a little upgrade(speakers). my question is...how hard will it be to hook up an amp(rockfords) and a set of kicker speakers to my stock h-unit? thanks!

it won't be hard at all. they have a cable that runs off your rear speakers that hooks into the amp. you can get it at any major electronics store.
