Ok im gonna start from scratch. Iv got a complete stock 2002 3.8L Auto
my goal is to eventually put Twin Turbo with 3.5" intercooler. so help plz!!!

what would be the best first mod to put on the engine internal or external "engine only" and then what after that and so on.

another thing would putting forged rods and pistons allow me to beable to push more PSI into my engine from the turbo or give me more hp period?

I say that if you are serious about twin turboing your engine (cuz a lot of people are just talk when it comes to that), then start building up engine so that it can handle the power from the turbos. Forging the rods and pistons would be a very good investment in my opinion.

Well since it's all talk, start small and work up.

1.) True dual exhaust, headers aren't needed, but if you're going turbo, might as well get them out the way
2.) Gears and a limited slip differential
3.) Tuner
4.) 9mm spark plug wires, spark plug change, full fluid change (tune up for the next mod)
5.) Ported upper/lower intake, ported and upgraded heads, mild cam, 70mm throttle body, cold air intake (if not already done), 90mm MAF set to 24lb injectors, 155lb hour fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, may need your fuel rails reworked (not sure though as it's a V6 and I never got that far with my old one), forged pistons, piston rings, piston rods, forged crankshaft
6.) The turbo and intercooler, the cai will no longer serve it's purpose, but since that last mod cost so much as well as this one, it will be a long time before you'll have to worry about a $170 loss on a cai.

Turbos like autos....unfortunately I don't have alot of experience with the AOD/AODE but TCI is building them so I believe they can at least be made strong...I would consider the stock one "soft" it also depends on whether this will be a dd or not.

Don't sweat it. Turbos love auto trans, you can build boost before you launch. Throw a Transgo shift kit in it and you'll love it. 4.10 gears go hand in hand.

Luck
