Default To Cat or not to cat, that is the question.

Ok, I'm going to change out my exhaust out for a true dual exhaust. The real question I have is whether to get uncatted midpipes or their catted counterparts. I live in Wyoming so there are no emission tests or inspections to worry about. But before i go ahead and buy them:
1.does anyone have a non-catted exhaust here?
2.What are the benifits and/or disadvantages to having no catalitic convertors?
And lastly what if any are the differences in the exhaust profile?

I was actually looking to get the MAC H-pipe from americanmuscle, http://www.americanmuscle.com/9498v6...ad-h-pipe.html, but if anyone knows where i can get an x-pipe I'd be more than willing to get one of those instead.

I went with the Mac H pipe for better sound. I heard the X pipe will give you more of a performance and the H pipe will make it sound better.

I used to have no cats on my car, but due to trouble finding a shop to work on my car...I had to get some installed. I would go back to no cats any day.
