Default weird clutch problem please help

This just started happening and i hope i dont need a new clutch....i have a 2000 with 80k miles and i bought it 3k miles ago...i dont know when or if the other owners put a clutch in but anyway...when im slowing down/braking the clutch pedal makes like a clicking/knocking noise until i touch it then it just vibrates like it normally does. Sometime ill just be cruisin along and it will make a soft sqeeking noise liek a mouse...its coming from the pedal and it just started doing this.

Does it squeal when you press and release the pedal? If so, its probably the throwout bearing. I just had that problem. If you're still on your first clutch, then it would be a good idea to just replace everything at one time. It costs about $750 after tax where I took it.

You are going to need a new clutch, the squeeking will get worse and do it more over time. As i told cisurfer, make sure they replace not just the clutch and throwout bearing, but also the pilot bearing. I had my clutch do the same thing and they didnt replace that, so it still had the squeeling but it worked fine. Its just now starting to get a little harder to shift gears. I had it replaced about 35,000 miles ago. I put an extreme amount of miles in my car. It had 26,000miles when i bought it in 04 and it now has 90,000. So about 64,000 miles in about 2 1/2 years. I drove it too much . When you are replacing things due to high mileage, might aswell upgrade, like a newer stronger clutch than factory. Thats what i am gonna be doing. Good way to sneak mods in from people that will scorn you ie...THE WIFE. HAHA
