would you dump your exhaust before or after the drivetrain?

right after the muffler. Get one of those elbow joints so the sound aims and bounces off the ground/road. but on a v6 its going to sound like poop unless you have 40 seris flows

just dump them after the muffler...it sounds better....deeper and more noise into the car...i dumped my factory muffler...cheapest exhaust mod any 6er can do and it gives you a little sound...will hold me over until i either a) get an exhaust or b) get an engine swap

Dumps are a cat back system, it just doesn't have tailpipes. Cat back means from the catalytic convertors and back. If your mufflers are before the cats, than that's one screwy exhaust.
