Default Stock Exhaust

Do all v6 mustang come with dual exhaust. I got mine and they had x-pipes. Is that what comes stock. And if it is stock, how restrictive is that?

The v6 somes stock with a y pipe and ends in a one muffler exhaust. Even the GT comes with an H-pipe. Looks like you have an aftermarket setup.

Is it possible to order dual exhaust from the ford company when you order the car?

Not that I know of.

What you might want to do is stick your head under there and see what brand is on the mufflers. That should give you a good idea of whats been done.

Could be Flowmaster, there older models do not have their name on the mufflers. No Ford does not make a true dual option for any sixer. Now if you have connections you may be able to get it done by the factory, but why do that when you could get it done yourself for much cheaper.
