Your car has the 7.5" rear end, the 8.8 comes in the GT.

The 7.5" t-lok is not a performance part and has potential to wear out faster, a better bet would be something like an "Auburn Posi" or "Detroit True track". This one is up to you the auburn or detroit are about twice as much money but have the potential to last a lot longer, however some people have used the t-lok with success.

Gears are a funny thing and everyone has an opinion on them, some will say "4.10 or nothing" and the rest will argue that. I havn't had either but plan on getting them and have asked around. My mustang shop that I go to told me they suggest 3.73 gear for street and 4.10 for the track. I trust their opinion. Thats what I will do. Your best bet is to make a list of what you plan to do to the car in the future, what you want from it and ask some credible sources for advise. Remember the final decision is yours to make...your the one that has to live/pay for it.

Good Luck.

I've had 3.73's, 4.10's and now going down to 3.55's. I first started with 3.73's and loved them but wanted a little more. Then upgraded to the 4.10's and these were better for racing, but on the highway sucked big *****. Now I'm dropping down to 3.55's due to the power level I'll be at. If I stayed with the 4.10's I'll run out of gear before I hit the traps, same thing with the 3.73's.

For you application go with 3.73's and have a blast. Get the Detroit true trac as well, stay away from the Auburn has they are pieces of dung and wear out. The truetrac will never wear out.
