Default 2000 Intermittent Starting Problem

Hey guys,

my 2000 v6 mustang seems to have trouble starting now and then. It started after leaving it in the garage for about a month without much use. It will click once when the key is turned, but won't always turn over. Sometimes it will, and if i hold the key sometimes it will start turning over after 5-10 seconds. Any ideas? Its not that battery, thats a definite. I seem to remember having this problem 5 years ago or so and having it taken care of at the dealer, but that was when it was under warranty. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

John

I don't think it would be the gas as the starter never even engages and the engine never actually turns over. I'm thinking something electrical?
