Default Tailpipes

So ive seen several cars without tailpipes, they were classic muscle cars albeit, but would this no tailpipe idea have any effect on a V6 with duals?

You can do it a few different ways. You can either get turndowns that bend down right before the rear bumper (like the pypes systems have) or you can run actual dumps. The dumps will affect the sound of the exhaust mostly because the turndown is right after the muffler so it tends to echo off the bottom of the car.

get side exhaust that doesnt stick as far out, and get baffle plates. that'll make it loud

Instead of running a tailpipe off the muffler you get a little turndown pipe. The turndown goes directly on the muffler and shoots the exhaust straight down istead of through a tailpipe.

EDIT: Cheap Exhaust Sticky The turndown piece is the second picture down, right under the pic of the muffler.

the above link is for a single exhaust. oh and the sound clip sounds like A$$. it sounded a lot better in real life. that was my car btw. but yea you can do it with duals too. ive got dual force mufflers w/ dumps. sounds awesome.

i know...its because the camera is right behind the pipe where the exhaust flys by the camera and i think that **** up the sound of it. i really wish i woulda got a better clip. i just didnt/still dont have a camera of my own. i only had that one for that night and didnt know what it sounded like till i got home.
