where is the best place to get a new idle air control?

 

Autozone will do.

 

Or if all esle fails, Ford, but better get that check book ready if you go there.

 

65 for a new motorcraft at the local dealer, but little scret about autozone, the wells unit is just a reboxed motorcraft

 

i dont know exactly why your gettin a new one but if your havin idle problems you could try to clean it out before buyin a new one. buy a can of carb cleaner, take the iac off and spray some inside it all around.

i was havin problems in my 00. so i did that and a few othere things and it helped alot. it seems like there are a lot of poeple with idle problems though...maybe its just a damn edge stang ford pos part.

 

nope, it's pretty much been a problem since 86 i think
