Can someone explain how an aftermarket CAI would be different that the stock one, and would i want to get a bigger TB to go with it?

 

Don't waste your money on the TB, read through the forums and you'll find out why, there are 200billion post about them.

Cais, remove the air silencer, widen the air path a little, removes the cheap restrictive stock air filter, and removes the wire gause in behind the MAF, all of which improve airflow, and cause the slight increase in rwhp, and mpg that you get with one of those as it increases engine efficiency.

 

so would you hear a difference in sound too?

 

it will make ur exhaust sound a tad beefer

 

you will hear a slight diffrence nothing major

couldn't the same be said for cold air intakes?
