question for everybody who painted their interior pieces, did you just use paint or mix it with an adhesion promoter? or what else you did and how it is holding up?

 

clean very well
very very light sand
3 coats primer
3 coats color...didnt mix it, i just got it in a spray can from an o'reilly's paint mixing shop
3 coats clear
let it dry and snap it back in the car.
i waited a few months to make sure the paint was totaly set but i wax it every once in a while too. its holdin up great though. still looks new.

 

so its not chipping or rubbing off

 

nope. its stayn on great. 99% of the time i forget i painted it...it just seems like its always been that way.
