wus up guys i want to make my own cai
now if ran it down by the bottum of my bumber and wrapped the piping with like header wrap or something to insulate the cold air does any one think that may work any better than buyin one from some company

1. its not legal in most places.

2. the cost to buy a mac, k&n, or bbk will be well worth the money spent.

3. you can buy a cheapo intake that is also not legal everywhere for a lot less than it will cost to make one.

not legal issues, but they just wont pass you on emissions when that comes around. you may get ticketed for it though if you get pulled over by a cop for suspicious driving and he see's you have non-carb certified parts on your car.

just go with a $49 one on ebay and a K&N filter, thats what i did works fine.

if you wrap the cold air intake with header wrap, will that make a big difference? It isnt pretty but if it works, who cares right?
