Default Prep. car for racing

A couple of my friends and I are racing eachother for money on Friday... not alot but enough to worry me. What can i do to prep my engine so its running its best?

is it stock? how many miles. ok put it this way there isnt much you can do that will make a difference. but if u insist lol. oil change, clean the fuel system, deflate the rear tires a bit, take out as many things ie. the spare tire.

25 psi in the rear tires so you have a wider tred pattern

Car isnt stock but close to it. I had the oil changed about 4 days ago and it wasnt synthetic cuz im putting the car away within a week anyways because of winter. I have a motoblue 42% UDP and a CAI and Iridium spark plugs... I am running fuel injector cleaner through it currently...

Car isnt stock but close to it. I had the oil changed about 4 days ago and it wasnt synthetic cuz im putting the car away within a week anyways because of winter. I have a motoblue 42% UDP and a CAI and Iridium spark plugs... I am running fuel injector cleaner through it currently...
ok well youll be fine. and o yea dont race with a full tank. go with about a 1/4 tank so u can save weight.

how much does the spare tire in the trunk weigh anyways?i was thinking about taking it out.

no less than 20 lbs and no more than 50lbs a rough guestinate its somewhere between 2- and 50 lbs

Racing with a stock V6? Eh Hope it's like stock D series Hondas and 4 cylinder Fox Bodies. No offense to anyone in here.

Definitely lower the tire pressure to about 25 psi. That lowered my 60' at the track last time by about .3-4 seconds.
