if you have teh money, supercharge it now with 11 psi, get a good tune, and let us know how long it lasts like that, like an experiment
the engine will probably blow up at 130k [8D]
i hope not mine has 134k, but without a s/c
Damn son, what year. Mine is a 2001 with 49k.
mine is 01 but we had it since its had like 11 miles, it was the family car we would take it out of state and what not so mostly all highway miles, so yeah its not used, and we baby it so i dont see it blowing anytime soon *knock on wood* so yeah but ima just gonna do bolt on's and 100shot and if it blows i am droppin in another 6 and mod more

lol no offense but who would say that if you had the choice to get a v8 im sure that you would have the reason that most of us have a v6 is because we cannot afford insurance or any of the other bills that may come wiht owning a v8, im sure if anybody in this forum had a choice they would get a v8,***and in no means am i bashing v6's***** lol i own one just like everyone else, just making a point

what's actually even funnier, is if any of you bothered to look up insurance prices on a v8 vs v6 (especially used ones), you'd see the insurance difference is only a few bucks a month, literally. ALSO, another funny thing is the whole gas mileage thing. i get 23MPG right now with my SUPERCHARGED GT on the highway. that's more than a lot of people on this forum with v6 stangs claiming they get like 21 or less and wonder what's wrong.

i owned a v6 before, but i didn't have a choice. when i was getting my 04 (back in 04), i was going to be buying a v6 cause of the whole insurance and gas thing. then i actually did some research and drove off the lot with my brand new GT.

Hmm my buddies 99 GT with 4.10s gets better mpg then my 6er

and when i went from a 4 banger 85 mustang to a V8 92 camaro my inusrance went DOWN $80 and is going down again due to having my license for a year im now paying just over $1600 a year, compared to $2800 that was on the V-6 a year ago, then it went down to $2200 when the deductible was raised and it fell off the top 10 stolen vehicle list

find some new excuses

my buddy talked to his insurance company last night (hes 16) to have him added on insurance for his dads mach $2800 a year on a mach

i would be paying $2200 a year on a 6er but am instead paying $1600 a year for a V8 camaro
