Sell the 2003 v6 and buy a 99-04 gt. Best advice if he really wants a v8. My apologies for not answering the question, the money involved in doing the swap just isnt worth it. If someone can answer his question please do...I dont know the exact expense.

i think it comes between liek 6k-9k for a swap depending on what problems u run into.....buyin a GT or cobra is cheaper and less bull****

why not just ad a turbo/supercharger to his current engine, i think that would be alot more unique than owning a v8 mustang.

He just wants a V8, he might supercharge that though.

it is not worth the headache to do a swap. all in all it will cost more to swap in a stock 4.6 than it would to put a TMA turbo kit on and have 400rwhp

also with a V8 swap you have to notify your insurance of the swap so they can adjust the premiums to V8 premiums. if you don't then it's insurance fraud

All the mods that you mentioned he has done to his V6 can be swapped to the GT. Seems like an easier route.

If he ever does do the swap, I would recommend making it a 4v v8 instead of just a 2v
