Default eibach pro kit

Hey guys, I am thinking about maybe purchasing the eibach pro kit, or maybe ask for it for Christmas. Iv'e heard it will lower the car 1 to 1.5 inches, but will it give any performance increase? Are they noticably stiffer than stock springs? Thanks
Chad

Thanks for the replies guys, sounds like they are good springs for a drop. But, is there any perfomance increase? Any stiffer than stock?
