Oh yeah, I meant I beat a V6 Mustang, not a Yaris with Exhaust. I had no clue that the V6 stangs were quite that slow. I jsut read y'alls 0-60 times to be near 10s. That's pretty harsh for such a large engine.

 

94-98s are, 99-04s are mid-high 15s, 05+s are low 15s

 

yea, the redline would blow a 6er stang no problem. the Yaris on the other hand...

 

I noticed after two runs with the guy. He wanted to go round three, I just didn't feel like wasting more gas. Ion RL is definitely not the most efficient car.

 

what do the RLs run? they have the blown ecotec right?

 

FWD = teh suck. My car stock should run a mid to low 14 1/4 mile with a 6.2 0-60mph time. They're supposed to push 205 hp and 200 tq stock. I put mine on a mustang dyno last weekend and showed 227whp and 195wtq. I'm still stock. It's a 2.0L supercharged Ecotec. The wheelhop is insane. I'm sure with just solid motor moutns, transmission mount and traction bars, the stock RL could easily hit low 13s.

I have a kid on my street with a 1980 somethin Metro he bought for 100 bucks.. he spray painted it black.. even the hub caps... bought some underdash LED, pleather racing seat covers for the front 2 seats only a new shifter *** and boot, and a new CD Deck (so the sound still sucks) he challenged me to a race and later that night, me and 5 other guys lifted his car and put the rear end in the front lawn and the front end in the street... so he got a ticket.. now hes gonna sell it for a 91 Prelude.. and still wants to race...
