Default HELP

hey ppl, can someone please answer my question??? I have a 1994 Mustang 3.8 V6 coupe and my only thing is that I want a Tune-up done on it but the garage said 200.00 dollars. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! If I get the things myself is there anything specific I should know what to do? Im a woman now so give me a break? LOL I know alot with cars but I've never done a tune-up! Thank you for anyone who responds. Confused in Arkansas................... Samatha

Tune up should include plugs, wires if needed, rotor cap and bug, oxygen sensor, oil change, and you can go further by flushing the radiator and tranny. Most can be done at home with simple tools. I recommend getting a repair manual, do the reading, follow the pics, and if you have questions, we can certainly help. Welcome to the board. Oh, and the price you were quoted for the tune-up is mostly labor.
