its a waste of a mod unless you are heavily modded (cam, heads, intakes and power adder; aka supercharger)

You will spend some $200 for 0.000000000001 hp
oh yeah? well i spent ~$400 for 6RWHP on a blown car with a tb/plenum. so HAH!
show off jp nanaki how's the car coming?

you said it wasn't worth getting unless you have a heavily modded car. i have a decently modded car and got jack shat from a tb/plenum.

well, i would have, but you see. i made another mistake by listening to people on this forum. the same people that say 3.73s for f/i and highway driving said a 75mm tb/plenum is really worth it and will have good gains on a supercharged car.

Didn't you just prove YOURSELF WRONG? LMFAO

You said I said,
"it wasn't worth getting unless you have a heavily modded car."

then you said,
" i have a decently modded car"

Did I not say HEAVILY

You have exhaust and suspension...no heavy engine mods but the blower

ok. even if i had waited for all my major work to have gotten done, i don't see a tb/plenum making that big of a difference. how much of a difference did it make for you? oh yeah, i forgot, you don't have a clue either. besides, forced induction is the best thing you can do to put something like a tb/plenum to the test. you're forcing all that air in you would think a larger tb would make a difference.

i would LOVE to see your proof to these claims btw that on a HEAVILY modded engine it makes a difference.

First of all I NEVER ONCE EVER claimed that a TB would net soooooooooooooo much hp, did I? If so PLEASE DO SHOW ME where I said that and will apologize. I said its not WORTH IT to get it unless you are heavily modded. Not that it gives you SO MUCH POWER, but you get the BEST USE out of the tb when you have lots of work done to the engine

ok, fine. proof that you get the best use out of it with a heavily modded engine then. how is it that much better? it gives you better throttle response on a stock car. gives you better response on a blown car. hrmmm.... so is it even better on a HEAVILY MODDED CAR? if so, i can't wait to see how big of a difference it makes!

First of all it's PROVE..not PROOF! And its common logic that you will get the best use when you upgrade a maf, injectors, tb, intakes, heads and cam then you would with a stock block and a tb. You match the tb to the porting work on the intakes for the best flow possible.... Do you want me to draw you a picture using straws?
