Default Side scoops

So i decided i want my side scoops to be functional... i took a look at them and they would flow through if i cut the inside of the fenderwell. now my question is if i take the side scoop off will i be able to put it back on easily? does it snap on and off or will i have to use an adhesive to put it back on?

I think they go on and off pretty easily if you want a definite answer you can give you local Ford dealer a call and ask somebody in the body shop they will surely know. I want to get rid of that honeycomb look on my side scoops too, so I'm going to get the bullet side scoops has a cleaner look to them.

I think thats a great idea to cut a hole in them; might as well put them to work if there going to be tagging along with you everywhere. But like I was saying I really can't imagine it being a big hassale to take them off and put them back on.

I have a 96 so the side scoops actually have holes in them so they just dont look like they do like yours do. so what i was thinking was running a tube back and up so it dumps the air at the top of the brakes....

They should be attached by plastic tabs (can't think of the tech term)...sometimes when you pull them out they don't go back in as tight, I had to wrap the tabs with elec. tape to get a good seal. I was cheap but you can buy 'em at a parts store for a couple bucks.
Let us know how your project goes!
