Major starting problem
I have a '94 stang with about 180k miles on it.. Amongst many other problems it has just recently aquired a new one. When I turn the key, the engine will turn but it will not fire. I have checked my fuel pump and spark plugs, they seem to be working fine. I opened my air intake, and while the engine is turning, every now and then some air will fire OUT of my air intake.. I can get the car to fire, but it will just kind of stutter for about 3 seconds and violently shake. Like I said, I have just recently aquired this problem about 2 weeks ago.. Any suggestions?
Nope, it hasn't been started in about a week.. I think there is a problem with my fuel injection, but the air coming OUT of my air intake was quite alarming to me.. Can you recommend perhaps some sort of diagnostic tool i can use to figure out exactly what is causing this?
