Default side exhaust

Anyone know of a side exhaust that would work on convertibles? There HAS to be one out there, but everything i find says it will not work with the vert. Its kinda funny too, some catalogues(sp?) i have, have a picture of a vert wwith it on, but then it says will not fit a vert. Kinda funny..

Well, in essence the vert kinda has a cheap subframe connector. Im guessing that is what the pipe would hit and cause it to be so low. But everything i find supposedly doensnt fit a vert. I think imma start to have to do some custom fab work to get it to work... its the same thing with long tube headers they wont fit cuase of extra braceing on there too

Ya i tried a local one the other day and they told me they wont do it cuz its too low.... I guess they didnt notice how low the whole car is and not to mention the front bumper to add to it, so clearance isnt much of an issue to me. So im thinkina ordering in the roush side exhaust and modify it myself to work. I might go shop around and see what others say also.

i wouldnt not cut up the sfc's. probably a bad idea. they put em on verts for a reason. i just wouldnt trust it. side exhausts do hang really low too. the guys at the shop were right. you have to have a really nice kit w/a muffler w/ in/out on the same side and it all has to be tucked way way up as high as you can get it. i fabbed one up for my car a while back and it was cool but was way way too low and would scrape on anything and everything. just my thoughts about it. it looks awesome though and i think it would be awesome if you did it.
