sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but do i need a bracket or mounting hardware to install an aftermarket stereo? it looks like it would fit right in

wut year is your car? the 99/00 has a pocket that will just fit fight in, but the 01+ has an enlarged pocket that you need to get a bracket for it to fit in.

u can go to a local auto parts store and buy the stereo pullers, stik em in the holes on the corners and pull out the stereo, it just pushes in some clips that are there. U can also use like nails or sumthing too.

thats not working... i can definitly feel the prongs pulling apart, but when i have all 4 held and try pulling the radio it tries pulling out that plastic piece around the radio/cd player/heat/ac controls...

any pointers?

stick em in there, pull out to the sides and pull outwards as your doin so. just kinda play with it, and it will pop out after a bit. keep in mind its never been touched in about 6 years..
