99 v6 performence

All the bolded cars would do better than 15.2...exceptions those 80's V8 camaros, which are slow, and the 94-95 GTMustang GT vert is game for a splitport, and if the RX-8 was an auto

You must be smokin crack if you think it takes even 8 flat to get to 60. I run a 15.2 @ like 92 or something (it's been a while). There're guys running stock gearing that are damn near in the 14s.The faster cars I've beateninclude a poorly driven GTO, a new BMW 3 series, S2000, a couple V8 Camaros, two turboed ricers (RSX and a Prelude), an RX-8, and earlier model RX-7, Supercharged Cobalt Sedan, and some Mustang GT verts of different model years.

My grandmother owns a taurus, and it isn't what I'd call dead slow, it does have decent accelleration for what it is, so I can believe that it could decently run with an auto Mustang, although it's 1/4 mile would be a little slower.
Anywho, yes, there are people with 99-04 V6s running damn near 14 stock, but these are also bad *** drivers that could run a 94 GT (14.9s 1/4) in the low mid to low 14s. Your adverage everyday joe is gonna run high to mid 15s (at best) with a manual, and high 15s to low 16s with an auto.
To make it faster, get:
1.) Gears and a limited slip differential (detroit true track, FFRP T-Lok, eaton, auburn)
2.) Get a tuner (can double as your shift kit if you're an auto, and help give you 8 or so rwhp)
3.) Get a true dual exhaust (doesn't add really any hp, but the sound, and advantages for the#5 are worth it)
4.) Cold Air Intake (not a big mod at all, 2-3 rwhp, but will help tuning with the next mod)
5.) 75-100 rwhp wet shot of N2O (best bang for the buck mod, just need a few supporting mods to make tuning, and overall gains better)
Do these mods and you "SHOULD" be running mid to low 14s, high 14s at worst.

15.2 with better traction is good for a high high high 14, is that with the IRS? hmmm the best car ive betten is a 2006 Honda SI[&o], before my gears[8D]

two turboed ricers (RSX and a Prelude), - not fast
an RX-8, - dont know anything about them
nd earlier model RX-7, ^^
Supercharged Cobalt Sedan, probably around low 15s like the SS balts
Mustang GT verts of different model years. - NPIs + sn95 5.0s are no problem stock

The point I was trying to make was that none of those are cars most people consider slow as *****. As for the GTO, DUH, but I still won. I don't know **** about 'maros so I can't comment there, and the GTs were more commonly Edge GTs..PI heads.

Your mods arent that impressive man...They are very nice but please don't lie to us. If the GTO didn't know you were racing or missed two gears, I would give it to you.
I raced a new GTO with the same mods as you minus the gears and he raped me...
