does 99-00 have air injection or not? there are 2 types of headers...w/air injection or w/o air injection. i think my damn passenger side header is startin to leak cuz i know i have an exhaust leak somewhere and i know its at the cats or before. so im wantin to get some lt headers. im gonna get the headers and 2 magnaflow cats and just have all that welded to the existing setup.

just look at your cats. if there is an air tube coming from the cats it has air injection. most likely it does not as most 3.8's didn't have air injection except for cali cars i believe.

get pypes minicats. for about $60 they are high flowing and can fit in tight places especially with LT's on the car

 

yea i was gonna look, i just havent had time and wont have time to for a while, i would probably have to put it on ramps cuz its hard to see in there.

 

I have air injection on my 02. Look at the front of your engine at the EGR valve. If there is a 1" pipe coming out of the left side, follow it, it should screw into the manifold. I'm pretty sure you have it. If you get confused or aren't sure, post up a pic of the passenger side of your engine bay, and I'll tell you.
