i want to put comp cams in my car...either a mild stage 2 or even a stage one. does anyone have this done to their car? if so how much was the installation and did you have to replace anything else? id love to get some personal experience tips also! thanks a ton...

go with a comp cams 212/218 cam with .550/.550" lift with the springs part# 26915 and custom retainers

$620 for the cams and springs/retainers and probably $400-$500 for the install.

if you are going to do a cam it might as well be a good one. just like gears why put in 3.45's on an NA car if you have 3.27's a mild cam will not make much difference.

the above cam i listed is good for 25-30hp increase just on stock heads/intakes. ported them and you get 50hp increase or more

Wat would the cost be for your heads and intaked to get ported??...Looking to do the same thing that STANGGIRL is looking to do, my my car is a '99 Stang V6 Auto
