i used dupli -color paint, it's engine enamel, is make to with stang up to 500 degrees, you can get it in flat, or gloss, i used the engine primer, ford red paint, and after it quits raing here i'm gonna clear it., and just tape off all opening in the intake so no paint can get in

how hard was it to take it off?

 

not hard at all, it took me like 30mins. i'm about to go out, and put it back on, i have 2 exstra intakes here at the house if you would like i can sell you one. ill paint it, and ship it out you ya. just hit me up for price

 

WAY too red! Should tape it off and paint the raises black...

and its going to dull, if not flake off, after you run your car a little...

 

No, but you could port it, chrome it out, and ship it this way. lol.

 

I believe he just has single port intakes, in other words, sorry 99-04 guys.

 

it's not gonna flake off, this is the same paint that is used on the block. i used it on my old 4x4, and ran that bitch threw mud, and beat it to hell and back the guy still has the motor that i painted, and it didnt flake of, still looks good
