so my parents got me this pain in the *** locking gas cap. and i'm fed up with it. so i threw it away. but when you put back on the factory gas cap, it has a cord attached to it. does anybody know where this cord attaches to? a pic would be helpful.

have you ever had one? they are a pain in the ***. and if you lose the key, you're kinda screwed because you can't put gas in it until you get it off.

you'll be wishing u had it, when some1 put sand or sugar in there

 

yeah cause the sand and sugar in gas tank fairly has been on the loose lately

 

u know bryan your not supposed to tell them when your gonna do somethn to their car lol jk

its still on y the topic of the gas cap, which i think it just clips on to somethn or goes around it or whatever (the chord that is)

 

Just cut it off if you can't find the little hole to the rear of the filler hole.
