Default need your advice

I am planning on getting a 99'-04'V6 Mustang and was wondering if you think it would be okay to get one with something like 75,000 miles on it so it wouldn't be so expensive. Or would that be too many and would I have problems because I plan on keeping the car for about 4 or 5 years.

Well how much are you trying to get it for? I got mine with 16k miles on it for like 12,000 from carmax, practically brand new (and pony package).

Yea for me i had to make the same decision it was pretty much spend 6500-7000 for one with 80,000-100,000 miles on it which is what i wanted to spend but i found one with 40,000 miles for 8500 so i went over 2000 dollars to make sure i had something i can drive the entire time im at college(hopefully) at least 4 years hopefully some more after i graduate

I'm tring to get one for about $7000 - $7500, but i didn't know how long a mustang would run good, and if I was going to have problems with it if I bought one with 70000 miles or more. I'm planning on driving it for 4 years.

I would say if its a great deal then yes. But i would suggest to just wait and get something with less miles since you want to have it for 5 years. This is the problem im having right now. I got a 00' GT with 88k miles on it for a decent deal. At the time i couldnt wait to get it b/c it was a sweet car, But now if i had to do it all over again i would have saved for another 6 months or so and got something with half the miles. The reason why i say that is b/c now ive had it for about 10 months and have 101k miles on it and ive spent a ton of money on appearance etc and now i want to work on the engine and get a supercharger and that will be like a waste of money b/c my engine could have problems. Anyways if you want a car to make really nice and spend alot of money on it then NO dont get it, but if you will get it to just keep it clean and do a few things here and there and then trade it in the YES go for it man. Just thought id share my problems with u so you dnt make the mistake i made.
