let me ask you this what year is your car? did you ever take out the battery or undo it , cause if you did you need to relearn your cars idle, cause your car kinda has two idles, its first is whithout the aircondition then when its on,if your car does not learn the idle it well run kinda funnyits all in your car manual if you read it step by step its really easy. hopes this helps alittle, but really i need to know what year your car is first

It's because your A/C compressor kicks in when you're running defrost. Does you car do the same thing with just the A/C on? its normal

yeah it does it on the regular ac setting too, not just the defrost... and i don't think it's normal.. or at least not to the extent that my car is doing it

well while we are on the subject of ruff idle i started my car this morning it was the 1st morning this winter where it was actualy cold like 35 plus 10-15 mile winds and when my car started to idleit was rought realy rough i mean at times it felt like it was misfiring but i had no trouble once it warmed up then i left school at noon still cold did and the same thing once it got warmed up it was fine

any idea what could be wrong or is it just the cold weather ??
