My 2000 3.8 has recently developed a squeaking noise when traveling over bumps any idea what could be causing this. Im pretty sure the sound is coming from the underside of the car. I've had the car for almost 3 months and just rolled over 50,000 miles.

 

Check your front ant rear control arm bushings and sway bar bushings. They may have wear and that could be causing the squeeking.
