I have a 99 Stang V6 5 spd with Borla Catback, CAI, '03 Cobra Rims, Smoked headlights and tail lights,


What I'm looking for is another performance mod to get a little bit more power out of it. I was thinking either a steeda tri-ax for better shifting, or underdrive pulleys. I didn't know about gears really cuz my car has 104k miles on it...

what do you guys think?

eh thats the thing I don't wanna spend too much, i'm only gonna have my car for another 6-7 months, cuz after i turn 21 I'm gonna buy a 2005 GTO

 

That installation price could have been for t-lok and gears tho so don't take my word for it. Well if youre going to be selling the car soon i wouldnt put much more money into it.

Dude, keep your car, I'd take that over the GTO anyday. Yea, the GTO is niceish, but, well, I guess I'm just a mustang man. Anywho I say get the short shifter and U/D pullies together. Neither will really improve performance, but both help driving conditions. The pullies cause your engine to get a hair bit better MPG, and the short shifter makes shifting 10X better/easier.
