Default Tire Size

Im looking to get 17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 DD in the back. Now i need to know whats the best tire size you all recommend. But i guess i want low pros because i dont want a lot of tire and i dont want the look of riding a 4x4 and i want a wider tire in the back for the more aggresive stance so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Fellas! Oh and sorry for the question im not real good with tires and dont really know what the numbers mean so if someone wouldnt mind explaining that either. Thanks again.

dont know what to tell ya on the sizes besides i would go 245, 255, or maybe 265 in the front. i would probably want to go 255.

now for explaining what everything means....lets say you have 245/45/17 95W
the 245 is the tire width. its the width at the widest point of the tire from sidewall to sidewall
the 45 is the aspect ratio of the tire. its found by dividing the height by width and makina a percent out of it. so the side would be 45% of 245
the 17 is simly the rim size
then there is that other #...i dont know what it is. and the last letter there is the speed rating. speed ratings are...
p-93
q-99
s-112
t-118
u-124
h-130
v-149
z-149+
w-168
y-186
speed ratings thanks to tirerack

if you want a real aggresive look get 18's in back and 17 in the front i did it looks bad ***! i just got a lil too thin of tire on the front so it looks kinda funny but as sson as i get a lil thicker tire in the front or lower the front it will look badass

18's would look good in the back, i wish i had them out back, u can go as wide as 275 up front and as wide as 325 out back, the wider the tire the more traction u have, it protects the rim better but it will slow u down a bit, not a whole lot but it def wont help u in the speed department

wider tires are not as good in the rain if im not mistaken, and ive never heard of 325's, just 315 and 335. they cost out the *** either way. on a v6, it's just wasting money going that wide in my opinion.

Even the Saleen and Cobra only come with 275s...315 is alot of overkill.

I have 315's on 17x10.5's. Nitto drag radials lol. On my 18x9/10 I run 245/40 Fr, 285/35 Rr respectively. They fit well, but I'll most likely go with a 255 front and a 295 or 305 rear next time around.
