The right Supercharger
Hey guys and girls my name is Eric and i was just wondering if anyone out there could help me out on some of my questions. I have an 04 v6 stockstang but i would like to buy a supercharger for it. I have found one on rpm outlet which says that it will give me 345 horses to the wheels at sea level.. I am not sure how much i will have where i live. I live around 7500 feet above sea level and i was wondering if anyone would know around how much horsepower i would have to the wheels. I would also like to know if anyone knows of a supercharger that would give me more horspower gains than that one.... THanks
Well, you won't get 345rwhp from just the procharger alone, at least not safely.
And ProCharger is about the best you'll get. Either that or Vortech. Both are basically the same, just centrifugal chargers. It depends on what you tune them to. 11 psi should be safe on stock internals.

That's everything you need to fully install an 11 psi procharger on your V6. With that you'll roughly be around 300rwhp.
Oh, don't forget true dual exhaust. I wouldn't run any kind of forced induction without it.

Ya i also plan on getting 4.10's and a true lok posi trac, short throw shifter in the next few months. What is HCI that you said will give 60 to 70 horses? can you give a discription and website.. Thanks
sry HCI is Heads Cam and Intake i plan on getting ported heads and intake and a new cam before i get my prochargers heads is the most expensive part
and u can return ur stock heads and manifold as a core charge and get a couple hundred back for them
the only thing about doing this is the cost if u dont know how to do it or know some one that can help u do it it will cost a S*** load to get it installed
i only know of 3 companys that sell ported heads and intakes and ere are the links
