Bolt ons and a programmer and gears will get you hangin with the GT's. Trust me. Driver skill plays a large roll, but with those being equal, bolt ons and programming can do a lot in respect to that.

Bolt ons are like cold air intake, ud pulleys, exhaust, **** like that. A programmer is like an sct xcal2, it lets you do custom tunes to your car. When he says gears he is referring to the rearend gears. You can get either 3.73's or 4.10's, just make sure it fits a 7.5 rearend. I'd recommend getting an lsd of some sort also such as a t-lok or trutrac. Let me know if you still have trouble understanding...some of the other guys like ryan can explain it better and more accurately than I can though.

your not hanging iwth a GT with gears and a tune, tunes do bupkiss on new edges, gears, ehhh they make a differnce but not that much unless your going with 5.22s

Long tube headers/no cats/force mufflers, 4.10s/true trac, VMP tune, UD pully, K&N filter, ported intake with 65 mm TB, fox body 4 cyl front springs/ stock GT rears, some 245 series rubber, and maybe you might have a shot

75 shot of nitrous, with a vmp tune, exhaust, gears, LSD
