a fenderwall CAI wont help unless your going 80+ and even then it wont be something you will notice maybe one or two more whp.

 

haha, i got my chrome bullits(tires) exhaust and now all i want to do is order **** for my car then i look in my walet and realize i cant lol, we need some type of rehab

 

I know me 2, I still need to pay off the rims and im already almost going to order the full header back exhaust- another $1400. This **** aint cheap either..[:@]

 

I disagree with all of you. I have a CAI and i feel a real good response off the line. I love how it sounds haha. On the highway though is awesome, at about 75, I feel a good response.

 

And I have the same exact car as the person who posted this thread, 2004 torch red. How come he has a hood scoop and I have the cobra hood?

Ah, you guys are tards. You'll get more throttle response and a more direct airflow with a straigh shot, the heat shield prevents hot air from the radiator that is two or three inches to the left of the straight shot's filter from going in, and like stated above.....it doesnt matter at speeds. Its a good CAI, one of the best for this car IMO.

 

The Cobra hood is the one with the reverse scoop facing the window. It looks like from your avatar that you have that one too.

And the 2004 anniversary package V6's had the scoop. The regular ones had the Cobra hood.

 

2003 and newer V6 mustangs either have the GT hood scoop or the '99/'01 Cobra hood.

pretty simple, just take your time, have fun.

things to remember:
-it comes with a long metal nipple, you wont need it.
-put the black plastic cap on the hole of the intake tube.
-and i put the brake boost into the intake-t/b eblow.
