Tru-trac vs. locker
The trutrac can hold more power. According to a member on this forum, I think it was mustangman, his friends t-lok broke at 225rwhp?....but I think it depends on how you drive because I've seen people with 300rwhp and havent had a problem.
a detroit locker is different from a tlok lol. from what i understand a locker isnt an LSD meaning your rear tires will be spinning at the same speed ALL the time so not the best idea for a DD. i would recommend it for strictly drag racing or offroad purposes only lol.
someone on 3.8s broke at 212 rwhp, i broke my buddies 8.8 mach 1 with stock 280ish rwhp on bridgestone potenzas with a 4000 clutch drop
go with a true trac, its a limited slip not a locker, its more streetable

you all missed his question. he is asking the difference between the truetrac from detroit and the locker from detroit.
get the truetrac. it's much more street friendly. the locker which is extremely strong doesn't have good street manners because it's locked at all times and unlockes going around turns. when it unlocks it tends to pop and lurch which doesn't lend itself to good handleing. they are meant for straigntline of slow offroad 4x4 usage. the strutrac is open during normal driving and "locks" the wheels when one loses traction to get traction to both wheels
