Default cobra conversion....

I found a trashed 99 cobra for kinda cheap and was wondering how hard it would be to swap engines.... a list of everything needed would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this has already been asked......I drive a 99 v6 btw

If you have got the wrecked car, you have all the parts you need, just a lot of work and some money, basically swapping evertyhing but the body shell

you have the parts you nee if you have the wrecked car. it is a lot of work but if you can do it yourself and this is not your only car it is able to be done. if this is your only car and/or you are paying someone to do it i would advise not to because you are lookin at a lot of money in labor.

i've been quoted $2000 labor for an engine/transmission/rear-end swap...at a shop i DIDN'T know....$1000 for a shop where i know the owner and he would do it himself with his partner (and let me help out now and then)instead of his "workers"

That isnt to bad if they know what they are doing and you dont have to buy to many extra parts than I would do it.

it would prob be just as cheap to fix the cobra as to switch the motor
