I recently order an e-brake boot cover from REDLINEGOODS.COM.....if you want to buy an e-brake boot cover or shift boot, DO NOT BUY thru redlinegoods....i ordered a charcoal e-brake boot, and its a least 2 shades lighter then the charcoal shift boot i have in my car now......i wrote to them, was nice, but all i got in reply was, "we never make a mistake like sending out the wrong color" I sent them a photo of the boot.....here, you be the judge...am i color blind??

yea that is the medium gray...wtf...you SURE you asked for the Charcoal gray?...if so you should dig up the invoice or emails to them and send them a copy...did you tell them you are a forum member?...they are a sponsor for MF...maybe that would get you better customer service

 

I didnt tell them im a member, but i had it...i wrote them about 4 emails, the first one amitting i was at fault cause i thought i ordered gray....checked the invoice "charcoal"....wrote them again and sent the same pic i posted here....they said we cant make a mistake like that...wrote again, they wrote same thing back.......i think ill take the 40 buck loss....and if i do send it back they want a 30% restocking fee, and not to mention i have to pay for the shipping back to POLAND[:@]

 

Man I wouldn't take the loss. Pick up the phone and talk to a real person, preferably a manager and be polite.

 

They dont have a number...well they do but its a message system that takes the recording and writes it down as an email and sends it to the company....i sent 2 pics of it, and all i get more or less is that there is no way they could have made that mistake....i sent 2 more emails this mourning, all nice, and hopefully they can do something about it.

 

For sure man, don't even accept the restocking fee. That is total BS.

 

Did you pay with a credit card? If so, contact the credit card company and get your money back. It's totally legal, I've had to do it before when I got screwed and they wouldn't fix their mistake.

damn that sucks...i thought they were better than that...i actually just ordered the $10 sample of all the leathers to make my choice on boots...they said they were going to do a custom matching steering wheel ring for me too...search the member list for redlinegoods.com and talk to that guy...maybe he can help you out

 

I got an email from them and they said they didnt recieve my pic that i sent them....so i sent one thru imgaeshack, and hopefully ill hear from them soon....its like 9 or 10hr. time diff. so i think ill hear from them tomorrow...ill let you guys know what they do for me

I did pay by card too....how long do i have to file the complant thru the c.c company? ill check but just seein if neones of the top of their heads.
