a 2002 mustang auto with cai and dual exhaust......vs mine with the mods listed below and im giveing him 2 cars lenght ahead

 

That exhaust should help him a bit more . If u dont **** up shifting u will take him because autos are bad from a dig man!Pure dogs. Id say U!!

 

He may have an auto which sucks but if your given him two car lengths that almost makes up for not being able to launch well and then he has exhaust too so im thinkin it would be a close drivers race.

 

If he had a tuner, youd be done. But lucky he doesnt, so if he doesnt know how to do the D2D, itll be close, but i think it will still be the auto

well it sounds like an ineteresting race. the Auto tranny has a 1st gear ratio of 2.84, the T5 is 3.35. you'll def be faster off the line and probably will catch up relatively easily. his exhaust will help him breathe out better, but its all down to the shifting speed once you get up on him. our auto's have no pull from a dead stop unless he does a brake stand...even then, without a torque converter...you should be ok. If he does the D2D, he shouldnt do too bad, but if he leaves it in D, the tranny will prolly shift at 5,500RPM well after the powerband runs out at 5,250. at least mine does this. For the most part, its a driver's race, but it will be pretty close i bet.

ru serious two cars there is no way you can beat him you just let him become like a low15 high 14 sec car if you think about it race straight up

 

I think the auto will kill u with that much or a head start. Race from a stop and ull take em easily.
